How do I concentrate/work better and finish my Homework faster?

I always take my time so it takes me like 2 - 3, sometimes 4 hours for me to finish all my homework with all the correct answers. I’ve seen lots of people who finish all their homework in class or during lunch time; in an hour or less with all the correct answers and I was wondering how did they do it? What did they do?

What are some good homework assignments for the first week of school?

I am teaching 2nd grade this year and they are going to have a weekly homework sheet with certain routines but I don’t want to start this until the second week of school. I still want to assign homework beginning on the first day. What are some good, easy assginments when the first week is shorter and will not be too concerned with academic work (mostly rules, class routines, and assessment)? Many thanks.

I have more than 4 hours worth of homework in every subject. Its just stressing me out, I’m just in middle school. I missed dinner and my favorite TV Show. My backpack is so heavy and way too much books. I just don’t get why teacher gives out too much homework. Why us kids have to suffer by giving too much homework? Why do we even do homework in the first place.
