homework
supak464 asked:

I grade homework for my step daughter at night and I wanted to know what way is the best way for me to check it. I must be doing something wrong when I am explaining it. I work it out, then i correct her face to face.

actually, you should check it and if she has something wrong have her redo it on her own that way she learns her own mistakes, if she still doesn’t do it right then push her in the right direction, but don’t do it for her but give her praise for the correct ones so that she has some motivation

i think you should write down the problems what she missed on a separate sheet of paper and have her go back and correct them.
if she doesn’t understand them explain it to her.

I would try to make a little game out of it or a quiz where you wright down the problem she got wrong and then give her multiple choice. Maybe you could give her a little treat for the one’s she gets right and try to show her how you got the answer. However if you find the answer a difrent way then her teacher tells her don’t show her that way because it will most likely confuse her. Also silly little songs will help alot for like spelling and such.

Make sure you are excited when she gets one right as well it will make her feel like her sucsess is your happiness as well!

    ~Good luck!
